Project Description
The standard within the specific project was set extremely high from the beginning. The delivery time was beyond negotiation and really short, a deadline of just two months. The specifications were equally demanding, since the building was meant to accommodate operations department of the largest tourist agent globally. The way to accomplishment absolutely decisive: technical know-how and extreme coordination.
An area of 900 square meters next to Zante airport was selected in order to develop the local headquarters of the tourist operator responsible for coordinating thousands of island’s visitors each year. A commercial building of 400 square meters was constructed, using industrially manufactured steel beams for the supporting structure. The perimeter of the building was formed by means of heavily insulating PU panels, a factor that greatly defined the architectural attitude of the building.
Structured cabling network, uninterrupted power supply system (UPS), surge protection, and central surveillance installation were some of the infrastructures needed to accommodate the operational aspects of the occupants.
The outcome filled Entropy’s team and our partners with absolute pride, managing to deliver a fully operational building in just 55 days, counting from foundation excavation up until final commissioning to the owners.
